New perspective article on photoelectrochemical (PEC) flow cell design for redox flow battery application has been published by our graduate student Shaun Whitley in the Journal of the Electrochemical Society (just accepted). In addition to recent progress on PEC flow cell approaches, the 3D study found that the current PEC flow cell configuration cannot stabilise the operating temperature of the PEC device, highlighting the need for flow rate and electrodes distance optimisation.
